2008 ZedX Weather Information Technology Award Winners.

ZedX congratulates the 2008 recipients of the ZedX Weather Infornation Technology Award; David Henderson, Eric Wertz, and Tyler McCandless. Students are chosen who have contributed to the use of advanced technology for improving applications of weather observations or numerical guidance for specialized forecasting applications.

Students with an aptitude or interest in information technology are strongly considered. The scholarships and awards committee reviews the nominees and approves the selections. ZedX has honored Penn State meteorology students since 2001.
